Max and his wife, Amy Ellzey, have three terrific sons and three fabulous daughters.

Amy grew up going to church, though she was baptized and made her own commitment to follow Christ at age 20. Amy and Max have been happily married since 1994. Both not only came from active Church backgrounds; but also came from International Business backgrounds, had lived in Europe, and love meeting and making friends with people from all over the world and from every walk of life. Amy left the working world when pregnant with Bradford (after also having Charlton and William) to raise their children at home.

After experiencing several miscarriages, the Lord added three wonderful daughters from China to the family: Faith, Grace, and Joy. 

Amy homeschooled the children and oversaw their Musical performance development, with which they were heavily involved.

The family has been very involved in supporting ministry at the church. Amy coordinates (and participates in the music program, which has significantly involved the children leading worship with their instruments. Amy loves to include the other wonderful musical offerings which come from the congregation.

Like so many others at church, Amy also helps where needed. Due to her background in Event planning and speaking, she’s put on: Ministry Events, Vacation Bible School, Weddings, Funerals, Baby Dedications, Graduations, Anniversary Celebrations, and a church renovation.
